Certification of NDT Personnel for National Defense Industry |

The Qualification and Certification Committee for NDT Personnel of Defense Industry (DiNDT), founded in October, 2003 with the approval of the government administrative department, is an organization which implements qualification and certification for NDT personnel in defense industry.
NANDTB, founded in August, 2006, is taking charge of certification activities for aerospace industry.
Certification Nature:
The personnel technical qualification which is carried out in order to ensure correctness, effectiveness, results consistency and comparability in the course of product testing. It neither belongs to practitioners or practice accreditation nor vocational skills certification scope.
Basis of Standards:
1. National Military Standard: GJB9712A；
2. NAS 410/EN4179.
Scope:
1.NDT personnel who are responsible for developing testing procedures, implementing testing tasks and issuing testing reports according to requirements of National Military Standards.
2. Authorized NDT signatory accredited by DiLAC.
3. Nadcap supplier special process NDT audit.
4. Enterprises need to meet requirements of NAS 410/EN 4179. |

1. October 20, 2003, “The Qualification and Certification Committee for NDT Personnel of Defense Industry (DiNDT)” founded.
2. From December 5 to Dec. 9, 2003, completion of level II examination implemented by DiNDT for 390 people from 10 specialties for the first time.
3. May, 2004, about 4266 certificates had been issued or changed for NDT personnel.
4. May 20, 2004, National defense industry NDT information website was brought into operation.
5. August 2, 2006, National Aerospace NDT Board-China (NANDTB-CN) founded.
6. March 17, 2008, GJB9712A-2008 (Revision) published.
7. September 28, 2009, MOU signed by DiNDT and PRI regarding business development cooperation and certification mutual recognition came into force.
8. November 26, 2009, Accelerator Testing (AT) specialty team established.
9. From 2003 to 2009, 230 examinations covering 10 specialties and 3 levels with a total of 7800 people have been accomplished. The average pass rate is 86%.

NANDTB-CN |

|
National Aerospace NDT Board-China (NANDTB-CN for short) was established and approved by the government administrative department in August, 2006.
Target:
The activity of NANDTB is aimed to propose and approve the certification criteria and technical specifications as defined in NAS410/EN4179 according to requirements of China aerospace manufactures and related organizations.
Nature:
NANDTB is a Technical committee which operates according to international norms and patterns with participation of aerospace manufactures and related organizations.
DiNDT certification body (Secretariat) is the standing body of NANDTB and takes charge of certification implementation. The certification process and results are under the supervision of NANDTB. |
